Ecosystem participant

Whitehole Finance is a lending protocol that creates a unified, on-chain, decentralised banking system composed of all stakeholders. All stakeholders play an important role in the protocol and are rewarded with GRV, a governance token, for their contributions and efforts.

Supplier

Depositors can participate by depositing various types of crypto assets into Whitehole Finance. Deposited assets are liquidated and used according to the terms you set, and interest is paid in return for providing liquidity. Interest includes both governance reward interest, which is paid in GRV, and deposit margin interest, which is paid in crypto.

Borrower

Borrowers can take part by lending Whitehole Finance a variety of virtual assets. Due to the requirements of the lending procedure, providing collateral is a requirement for participation. You can borrow virtual assets that suit your preferences in different money markets based on the offered collateral. Interest is paid by the borrower as a capital utilization fee. However, as a reward for your activities, you are given GRV because you helped the protocol expand by lending.

NFT holder

Depositors of NFT may borrow KLAY using NFT as collateral. Users can boost the usefulness of their NFT through NFT loans, and the loan proceeds can be re-deposited into Whitehole for farming. You are eligible to get governance compensation interest in GRV for any lending activity.

NFT Auction Bidder

The user's NFT is liquidated through an auction when the collateral value of the NFT borrower declines. Users can purchase NFTs for a bargain since auction-winning prices frequently go below the NFTs' market price. Additionally, if the borrower closes the auction, they may provide additional ETH to first-time bidders.

GRV staker

You can participate by locking up GRV, Whitehole Finance's governance token. When users lock GRV in their vaults, they receive a voting escrow, which offers various benefits and penalties based on their holdings. For example, protocol revenue is paid up to the full staking amount (rebate), and an eco-score is determined (zone).

Users in high zones are exempt from taxes and benefit from higher interest rates, while those in low zones do not. Some of the taxes paid by users may be airdropped.

Stakers can also participate in gauge voting, which determines the reward level of each farming pool that will be updated in the future, and in decision-making (governance) inside the protocol.
