# GRV Tokenomics

### **GRV**

The Whitehole Finance governance token is GRV. By securing GRV tokens, you may obtain veGRV and make use of the ecosystem's many planned benefits (boosts, tax rates, deductions). Through veGRV, it may also take part in protocol decision-making.(Governance)

### **Total GRV supply**

There will be 1,000,000,000 (one billion) GRV issued in total.

> * Community incentive : 40% to Community Incentive Rewards over the next 10 years
> * Presale ($GRV IDO) : 10%
> * Eco system (Marketing) : 10% (Reserved for marketing rewards, pre-minted in a multisig)
> * Team : 20% to the Core Contributors vested linearly over 3 years
> * Reserves : 10% (pre-minted in a multisig)
> * Protocol Owned Liquidity : 10% (pre-minted in a multisig , 5% used for initial liquidity)

### Sustainable Emissions

In the first week after the protocol launch, 1,350,000 GRV (0.45%) will be supplied as a reward. The weekly issuance will then increase and reach a maximum of 4,003,902 GRV in the 7th month after the regular launch, and then gradually decrease over the next 10 years.

This is a more advanced form of tokenomics, in which the emission is regulated until the protocol has grown enough to stabilize the token value. Sustainable Emissions prevent a rapid decline in governance token value in the early days of high APR, preserving the sustainability of the protocol and enabling sustainable growth.
